10.6. Integration into current frameworks
A fundamental goal, not of this work but of potential subsequent developments, is providing the method to a broad group of potential users in research and industry. The immediate path for achieving this is to provide the method in the form of a tool that allows the generation of the Klems matrices in the commonly used format. This allows the immediate application of the RadiCal method for both lighting and thermal simulation. For the latter case, however, the application of the SIOP interface, as described in this work, is highly recommended, as it offers the discussed advantages. The implementation required to evaluate SIOPs is concise and can be provided in multiple programming languages. An integration for Modelica (Dymola) simulations is already available and applied in a research project.
