9. Application case

In order to demonstrate the feasibility and potential of the method, a typical application case is presented in this chapter. The dynamic energy balance model of a triple-glazed IGU fenestration with Venetian blinds is established based on a detailed geometric model. The energy model is evaluated with a high temporal resolution, and the results are used to determine key performance figures for different boundary conditions. The calculation was presented and published at the ibpsa BauSim 2022 conference (Rüdisser, 2022).
